Activating Skupa
Trial
Nothing to do — the first launch starts a 14-day trial with every feature unlocked. The banner at the top of the app shows the days remaining.
Buying a license
Click Buy a license in the app's license banner (or on skupa.io). You'll receive a license key by email — a long single line that starts with:
SKU1-Keys come in two editions, matching the Azure cloud you work in:

Activating
- Open Skupa.
- Click the license banner at the top (or Settings → Manage license).
- Paste the entire key, including the
SKU1-prefix. - Click Activate.
Activation is fully offline — the key's ECDSA signature is verified on your machine. No activation server, no phone-home, works in air-gapped environments.
Moving to a new machine
Licenses are per named user: just paste your key on the new machine. Keep the license email — that key is your proof of purchase.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| "Invalid license key" | Paste the whole key as one line — no line breaks. Check nothing was trimmed from either end. |
| "License expired" | Your key had an expiry date (subscription-style purchase). Email sales@skupa.io to renew. |
| Trial shows 0 days on a machine that never ran Skupa | Trial state follows your Windows user profile. Report it from inside the app (Settings → Report a problem). |
| Lost your key | Use key recovery — enter your purchase email and the key is re-sent to it automatically. Or email sales@skupa.io from the address you purchased with. |
Never post your license key publicly.
